White Plains, NY
by Chris Lima
Staff Writer for River Avenue News
The doors to the River Avenue News Offices opened again this morning, the first time in two weeks. River Avenue writers were on vacation, and due to budgetary constraints, opted not to pay for the $0.75 per minute internet charge offered by the Cruise Line's Director of Technologies.
We're pretty certain you were able to get by without us.
Instead of following the Yankees for the entire week, River Avenue writers were subject to the daily horrors of cricket and soccer updates. Ask us everything you need to know about England's new captain.
River Avenue News writers were also reading Howard Bryant's in depth look at steroids and baseball; "Juicing the Game". Expect a detailed report on the book within the next few weeks.

Hi,
I'm working with Takkle.com, a social networking site for sports. Members can post photos, videos, share stats and schedules, and a whole lot more with others throughout the community. Takkle is a place where students, athletes, coaches, and fans can share their passion for sports.
I feel that your site is very useful. I would love to know if you could link to our social networking resource.
Thanks,
Sandi
