NY Times Reporter Tyler Kepner, responding to the new Facebook fad of naming 25 random facts about yourself, wrote 25 facts about random Yankees on his "Bats" Blog.
Here are a few that'll get a chuckle:
25. Ramiro Mendoza – Had my favorite nickname of any Yankee I’ve covered: Brujo, which is Spanish for “witch doctor.”
9. Bubba Crosby – When the Yankees dressed their rookies like Elvis, they didn’t make him wear a wig because they figured his real hairstyle was close enough.
4. Tyler Clippard – Loved to watch “The Office” on his iPod. He’d sit there with earplugs in and just laugh out loud.
