Scouting Report:
Yankees: With Dan Giese on the 15-day disabled list, the Yankees will turn to Rasner as they open a three-game series with the Blue Jays in Toronto on Tuesday. Rasner started on Aug. 13 at Minnesota and kept the Yankees in the game, limiting the Twins to three runs (two earned) on four hits through five innings. Still, the result was another loss for Rasner, who is 0-2 with a 5.76 ERA in his last five appearances (four starts). He takes on the Blue Jays, whom he beat with five innings of four-run (three earned) ball on July 12.

Blue Jays: Burnett has won five starts in a row, tying rotation mates Roy Halladay and Jesse Litsch for the longest winning streak of the season by a Blue Jays starter. On Tuesday, Burnett picked up a win on the road against the Tigers after giving up four runs on eight hits, including a season-high three home runs, with six strikeouts and one walk. Burnett upped his American League-leading strikeout total to 165 in the 108-pitch effort, which marked his seventh win in his past eight starts.
