Mike Mussina has officially retired from the game of baseball, exiting the game with his first ever 20 win season.
Mussina's eight years spent in pinstripes had been similar to a roller coaster ride; filled with tremendous highs (almost no-hitting the Red Sox) and serious lows (demoted to bullpen duty).
Mussina's career stats could point to a Hall of Fame induction, especially when the task of achieving 300 wins is nearly impossible anymore. Moose's 270 wins and lifetime era of 3.68 give him a good chance at being considered by voters in five years.
